2016 Oceania Commonwealth Championships

Four countries participated: Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Tonga. The 720 Round of the Oceania Championships was used as the Qualification Round, then matchplay for Compound and Recurve (both male and female) took place. Each country could enter up to three athletes per category. Australia had sent a large team to Tonga, so had by far the most entries. Consequently it was not surprising that they took out the gold medals for all four categories. Detailed results will follow once they have been converted from handwritten charts into electronic format.

Medals were quite unique, consisting of horn carvings in traditional Tongan style and were presented by the CEO of the Ministry for Sport.
